The Photographic Cubism work started as taking polaroid picture of his home and studio. He took various pictures, focusing on a few zones, and disregarding others. Hockney then chose the photographs he needed to utilize, set these onto a board, masterminding them by similar choices of "line and frame" that he utilized when drawing a photo.
